Xi'an Xianyang International Airport

It is the largest airport in northwest of china .Ranked in the fourth frequented airport in China,Xi’an Xianyang International Airport is home to 68 domestic daily flights from almost every Chinese destinations.Presently,with a total of 25 international routes,Xi’an has become the city with the most international connections in Western China.There are shuttle buses between the airport and the city center.

Xi'an Railway Station

With a reputation as “the Gateway to the West” XI’an railway station is one of the most pivotal terminals of the domestic railway system. It is the key junction between the southwest and the northwest ,and forms a connecting link between the west and the east of China.

The station lies in the north urban area, so it will take you less than half an hour from the downtown area. Buses travelling to the railway station can be found on every main street. It is better off buying tickets one week in advance of the travel, especially during the peak travel season.

Xi'an Long-Distance Bus Station

The highway transportation to Xi’an extends in every direction. Long-distance buses commute Xi’an and other major cities, covering 18 provinces and over 300 cities and countries. The Xi’an long-distance bus line terminal, which has been ranked as the highest class station in the whole nation, lies in the southwest of the railway station. And another one is in the east area.

The subway system is under construction. It will be completed in the year2012.
